How does self-service bike hire work?

Customers book online or scan a QR code on the bike rack, verify their identity, and receive a digital lock code. They unlock the bike, ride, and confirm the return with a photo when done — no staff needed.

Do I need staff at each bike location?

No. Lockii automates the entire process — booking, identity verification, lock code delivery, messaging, and return confirmation — so your locations can operate completely unmanned.

What locks work with Lockii for bikes?

Lockii integrates with IglooHome smart padlocks and lockboxes. Codes are generated automatically per booking and expire when the rental period ends.

Can customers extend their bike rental?

Yes. Customers can extend their booking online and pay the difference without contacting you. A new lock code is issued automatically for the extended period.

How are bike returns verified?

Customers confirm their return through the booking page, upload photos of the bike back in its rack, and optionally complete a post-hire checklist. GPS tracking can also confirm the bike is back at the correct location.

Can I run bikes at multiple locations?
